Leah Visionscapes Realities and tells commercial stories with Soul. She is an award-winning director, producer, and author of Beyond The Director's Chair.


Leah has produced over 200 hours of content across platforms and genres including music videos, short films, digital shorts, documentaries, features, and unscripted digital series.

Leah began producing and directing in 2013 with two seasons of the edutainment web series, Out Of Frame. The series went on to win awards at Miami Web Festival, Buffer Festival, and Rio Web Festival.

Leah has produced several YouTube channels including her original The Sonic Room, a Canadian music variety show. She is the producer and editor of the popular YouTube series, RiVERSE Reacts (Seasons 1-7), which has gained over 255 million views since 2018.

Leah and her creative partner, Sonja Verpoort, were runners-up for the Junior Entertainment Talent Slate Initiative in 2021 with the film project Salem’s Diary. The film is currently in the packaging/financing phase.

She produced the film, Wallflower, which made its world premiere at the American Black Film Festival (2023) and is now streaming on Tubi, Prime Video and Fuse.

In the unscripted content space, Leah was a finalist for the 2019 Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative. She was runner-up of Armoza Formats’ Formagination Pitch Competition at Realscreen in 2019.

She is currently co-developing a music competition format with Wonwoo Park (the original creator of The Masked Singer).

Leah produced three years of T.O. Webfest awards shows and served as President of WebSeries Canada for almost five years.

As a director, Leah’s short film credits include A Last Wish, Dinner With Bernice (Official Selection at 2018 Toronto Shorts International Film Festival) and Tasks: candy for the mind (Official Selection at 2024 Hamilton Film Festival).
